This is What Happens When You Don't Balance Your Workout

German man Matthas Schlitte has been arm wrestling competitively for the last six years, but taking one look at him and you'd swear he committed every waking moment since popping out of the womb to bulking up his right forearm, which measures 18 inches around, far bigger than his left.

The obvious comparison to the bulging arms is Popeye, but that cartoon characters outsized forearms were at least proportionate. This guy more closely resembles Hellboy, who has one gigantic arm and one fairly normal-sized one.

Schlitte said he was snickered at early in his career for being relatively lightweight compared to other arm wrestlers, but has claimed first place finishes in the Iron Curtain Armwars in Blackburn and the German Championships in Haltern.

Whether he got ribbons or trophies for that is probably besides the point. Not like anyone couldn't recognize what he does with his life.
