This is very cool. The NBA now has its rule book online, with videos that accompany each rule. Check it out here. If you’re bored at work, you now have a perfect way to waste your Friday.
Two qualms, though: first, the traveling section should have featured more Lebron James. But more importantly, why couldn’t we have more examples in the “technicals” section. Like, I feel like there’s some gray area to the players throwing/kicking the ball into the stands rule, and it’d be nice to have some additional examples to help clear things up, preferably all involving Ron Artest and/or Stephen Jackson.
As a consolation, the overt gesture technicals section is pretty fantastic. “Air Punch,” FTW!
