Really. From a fan over at SBN’s The Good Phight comes this quote from Pedro Martinez, discussing his rehab from recent injuries:
“Both of my calves were blown out,” he said. “That’s how I hurt my shoulder. I needed a complete up-and-down rehab. The most intense work I’ve ever done in my life. Two times I threw up while training and peed in my pants because I was out of control, it was so hard. I couldn’t do anything about it.”
Pedro takes the hill this afternoon for the Phillies, and, having completed his rehab, will hopefully avoid spontaneously peeing his pants.
