To anyone worried about a potentially ugly altercation tomorrow night when the Lakers and Warriors meet, worry not. You might remember the last time the L.A. and Golden State met, when Stephen Jackson and Kobe Bryant got feisty, and Jackson ultimately stormed off the court after picking up five fouls and a technical (in just 9 minutes, no less!)
Nevertheless, not tomorrow night, says Jack. Though even when diffusing a situation, he can’t help but the stoke the flames. Witness the quote, via Golden State beat writer Marcus Thompson:
“I’m gon’ be me. I’m gon’ play 110% I guarantee you I won’t feed into the nonsense. Because I know if it came down to it, if we had a real fight, I know what would happen.”
Um, did Stephen Jackson just say he could kick Kobe Bryant’s ass? I think he did, didn’t he?
