Bob Bradley Sets Roster for Final Two Qualifying Games

The United States Men's soccer team is on the verge of punching their ticket to the World Cup. A win over Honduras on October 10 at the Estadio Olimpico in San Pedro Sula, Honduras will clinch the United States' berth for South Africa 2010.

Head coach Bob Bradley has selected his 22 player squad for the Honduras and Costa Rica matches, the latter of which follows four days afterwards in Washington, DC:

GOALKEEPERS (2): Brad Guzan (Aston Villa), Tim Howard (Everton)

DEFENDERS (7): Carlos Bocanegra (Rennes), Jonathan Bornstein (Chivas USA), Steve Cherundolo (Hanover), Jimmy Conrad (Kansas City Wizards), Clarence Goodson (IK Star),

Oguchi Onyewu (AC Milan), Jonathan Spector (West Ham)

MIDFIELDERS (7): Michael Bradley (Borussia Mönchengladbach), Ricardo Clark

(Houston Dynamo), Clint Dempsey (Fulham), Benny Feilhaber (AGF Aarhus), Stuart Holden

(Houston Dynamo), Robbie Rogers (Columbus Crew), José Francisco Torres (Pachuca)

FORWARDS (6): Jozy Altidore (Hull City), Conor Casey (Colorado Rapids), Brian Ching

(Houston Dynamo), Kenny Cooper (1860 Munich), Charlie Davies (FC Sochaux),

Landon Donovan (Los Angeles Galaxy)

The US sits on top of the CONCACAF qualifying group, but the top four teams are seperated by just four points.  The teams that finish in the top three will automatically qualify for the World Cup, while fourth place will have to win a qualifying game against the team that finishes fifth in the CONMEBOL (South America).
