Is he playing better thus far this season? Sure. Is he on a better, more organized team, one with a good offensive line, a speedy young running back, and very good wide receivers (one of which is accurately nicknamed “The Freak”)? Oh yes. But is Kyle Orton, in terms of physical skill, better than Jay Cutler at playing the position of quarterback? No. Would the Bears be any better with Orton instead of Cutler? Absolutely not. So stop this, OK?

Cutler vs. Orton
Thank you Eamonn Brennan • Agreed.
However, in keeping with the current group think here is a SARCASTIC summary of what’s being said or inferred on the net.
The only thing that is different from last year to this year is Orton and Cutler. The Broncos and Bears made no other changes. Cutler sucks at playing defense. Orton is a much better defensive player than Cutler. Last year Denver was 29th in defense and now with Orton their first. Orton is way better at running back than Cutler. The reason we aren’t rushing well is Cutler. Orton is a better blocker, tackler, and receiver too. Devin Hester is way better than Marshall. Orton doesn’t have to score as many points as Cutler because he’s not a selfish crybaby prima dona. Orton is way tougher than Cutler. Orton calls better plays than Cutler. Orton may be as good as Ditka! Orton may be as good as Obama. PS. If the Bears just ran more they’d get more yards than if that idiot Cutler passes. Our running without Cutler is awesome. . Don’t let that selfish Cutler call the plays anymore.

Cutler vs Orton
I firnly believe that the Denver Broncos would not be 6-0 if Jay Cutler was still the quarterback. The turmoil that Cutler created in the off-season would be continuing. He was used to having Shanahan allowing him to pretty much do as he pleased. His ego was too big to be a team player. Kyle Orton is an all around team player. He’s willing to do whatever is asked of him. No way Cutler would do that. The team wins games. Period.

neckbeard is a servicable player as long as you can have somebody block for him. he is in an ideal spot. just imagine how much better the broncos would be if their qb could through farther then a 5 yd dig or a 10 yd curl route.
