Confirmed: Referees Approve Two-Year Contract

The lockout is over. On Saturday, NBA referees accepted a two-year contract, and they appear prepared to hit the ground running. From Bloomberg:

“The negotiations extended further than either side had hoped, but when our regular season tips off on Tuesday, we’ll have the best referees in the world officiating,” NBA Commissioner David Stern said in a statement.

The NBA referees are participating in a three-day training camp to prepare for the start of the regular season.
