Corso's phrase of choice has other, non-sexual connotations, but Kirk Herbstreit's reaction helped convince the blogosphere at large that it wasn't quite so innocent.
Bob Griese's casual remark was far more ignorant than innocent.
That's not overtly racist, but it's the sort of stupid, tone-deaf remark that polished broadcasters simply should not make. (He did, later, apologize.)
Raycom's perennial problems, by contrast, are just adorable.
Rick "Doc" Walker, color guy extraordinaire, came up with color indeed, time and again. Raycom also introduced viewers to their Facebook presence, which has elicited choice comments in the "Just Fans" portion.
Oh, and this happened:
Farewell and good riddance, early games. Afternoon games, you have a very, very, very low bar to clear, but please do more than hop.

Corso gets a pass because of post-stroke complications-it’s like Tourette’s. Griese doesn’t get a pass because stupid isn’t a medical condition.
