In six games this season, Jake Delhomme has thrown 13 interceptions (including three in yesterday's loss to Buffalo) and just four touchdowns. Add to that the fact that the Panthers are 2-4 this season, and suddenly it becomes clear that changes are coming in Carolina. And if you read ESPN's Trey Wingo's tweet, it may be coming soon.
panthers head coach john fox "not sure" who will start at qb this sunday when carolina goes to arizona. jake.. league high 13 picks.
More signs that Carolina may be (finally) turning to second-year QB Matt Moore is a report in the Charlotte Observer.
Panthers coach John Fox declined to say who'll start at quarterback Sunday against Arizona. He said he'll make the decision later in the week, but doesn't know when he'll announce it. ... Fox said the Panthers right now don't have a lot of confidence in their passing game and he's committed to doing whatever it takes to improve their production and confidence in that area.
Wonder how the Panthers are feeling now about that $20 million guarantee that was part of a five-year, $42.5 million extension.
