Glen "Big Baby" Davis reportedly was involved in an altercation Sunday (possibly with the kid from Orlando?), resulting in a broken thumb. He was already expected to miss as much as two months (possibly more) due to surgery, and now on top of it, the Celtics are probably going to suspend him.
"We'll deal with it," [Celtics co-owner Wycliffe] Grousbeck told WFXT. "I'm not going to call him 'Big Baby' anymore. He's Glen. He needs to act like Glen. We'll decide what to do once I talk to him, once we talk to him today."
"It's very likely he'll be suspended. And he'll have some time to think about it. It'll be a message, a teachable moment for the rest of the guys on the team."
I can't believe I made it all the way through this post without making one "Big Baby's on time out" joke. I am proud of myself.
