The Bay Bridge, which connects San Fransisco and Oakland, had a snapped cable Tuesday, which prevented major shutdown in the area. It also affected the Houston Rockets, who were forced to eschew the bus route last night and take a ferry across the bay in order to get to their date at Oracle Arena in Oakland. And Yao probably didn’t even get to go. Bummer.
