While the Saints have left their fans with plenty to cheer for so far this season en route to an undefeated record, there's a bit of bad news on the bayou on the injury front. CBS Sports reports that fullback Heath Evans will miss the rest of the season after tearing an ACL, while DT Sedrick Ellis will be out indefinitely with a knee strain.
While Evans was a solid lead blocker and red zone option for the potent Saints attack, losing Ellis, a former first-round pick out of USC, is the bigger blow, as he's a big part of their disruptive defensive line.

Saints' DT Ellis Has Sprained MCL, Out 4-6 Weeks
The undefeated New Orleans Saints will likely be without starting defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis for the next four to six weeks according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Ellis suffered a sprained MCL during the team’s October 25 victory over Miami. No surgery is expected, according to Schefter.
