Is there some sort of edict from NBC that forces Notre Dame to play in all these close games? Let’s see… Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, and now Washington.
Each of the past four weeks, Notre Dame’s been involved in games with manic momentum swings, very little defense, and all kinds of late-game fireworks. Seriously, the network’s been struggling for the past few years; who’s to say the NBC higher-ups aren’t playing with our reality, here?
Either way, we’re headed to overtime, and if it’s a mirage, I’ll drink the sand. I’m loving this.
