The Greatest Sports Day Is Upon Us: Your Viewing Guide For November 1

It's coming this Sunday: The GREATEST SPORTS DAY EVER. What, you didn't hear? Every single major, or semi-major, professional American sports league is in action on November 1. More from SB Nation's Inhistoric:

This means that it may be possible to watch every single professional sports league all on the same day: the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, PGA, ATP, WTA, MLS, and NASCAR. It's a shame the UFL couldn't schedule a game in as well. Granted, in order to view all nine leagues, you'd need NBA TV, the Tennis Channel, the Golf Channel and about three or four season-ticket packages. And realistically, you may get so caught up watching Brett Favre return to Green Bay on November 1st that you'll completely ignore everything else. It's also worth noting that because Game 4 of the World Series happens on this day, there will be no Sunday Night Football on NBC. And since the Avalanche-Cunucks game starts at 10 PM Eastern, it's actually not unrealistic to watch most of the four big leagues consecutively (though you'd have to watch the Magic-Raptors game at 1 PM).

So to help you navigate this grandest of sporting days, we've complied a quick and easy viewing guide for 11/1/09 (all times Eastern).

NFL:

1:00 Games:

  • Broncos at Ravens (CBS)
  • Texans at Bills (CBS)
  • Browns at Bears (CBS)
  • Dolphins at Jets (CBS)
  • Rams at Lions (FOX) -- Blacked out in Detroit area
  • Giants at Eagles (FOX)
  • 49ers at Colts (FOX)
  • Seahawks at Cowboys (FOX)

4:00 Games:

  • Raiders at Chargers (CBS)
  • Jaguars at Titans (CBS)
  • Panthers at Cardinals (FOX)
  • Vikings at Packers (FOX)

Full television distribution maps can be found here so you can see which games will be broadcast where you live. Unless you have the Sunday Ticket, you lucky bastard you.

Also note: There is no Sunday Night Football because of ...
