FanHouse's Ed Price reports that Yankees skipper Joe Girardi has decided to start CC Sabathia in Game 4, and is "leaning toward" using A.J. Burnett in Game 5 and Andy Pettitte in a possible Game 6.
That would give the Yankees a three-man rotation for the World Series, which no team has done (in a Series of more than four games) since 1992.
If I were the one paying Sabathia, I'd certainly make him pitch three games. Actually, I'd make him pitch all seven games. I would also make him man the ticket offices and turnstiles, distribute concessions, head security, make front-office decisions, and manage all the Yankees' ties with shadowy crime syndicates. He's certainly making enough money.
