In a faux PSA "brought to you by the Fight Against Grenade Spam," an avatar professing to be and voiced by Hamels decries the practice of "spamming" grenades, or throwing them blindly around levels, declares the practice the province of "pussies" and drops an f-bomb for good measure.
Below the jump is an embed of the the video, which contains NSFW language.
It's not particularly funny, and probably more risque than either Hamels or Infinity Ward, the company behind this Call of Duty, wanted. (The original Infinity Ward version of the ad has been pulled from YouTube.)
But it's the Internet, and with the YouTube clip out of the bag, you can be sure this will have a longer life than -- spoiler alert -- Hamels' avatar does. (Maybe, given the unfortunate wink-wink acronym of the group, Hamels shares an agent with Larry Johnson?) I wouldn't expect this to be brought up during his Game 3 start tonight, but it might be brought up by more mainstream sources soon.
