12 P.M. Games To Watch While Hastily Assembling Your Halloween Costume

Oh man. Oh man oh man oh man. You are screwed. You are so screwed. You're supposed to be at a Halloween party tonight, and if you don't think quickly, you'll be the only one without a costume. Embarrassing. How will it be embarrassing to not dress up as a character from Twilight? How does that work? It's not fair. You hate Halloween.

Huh. Is that Mississippi and Auburn? If Auburn could beat No. 25 Mississippi, it could muddy things up in the SEC West. Augh! No time for football! No time! You wonder if you could just dress up as a ghost by poking two holes in a sheet and throwing it over yourself. It would be ironic. Wait, how are you going to raid the snack tray if you don't have a mouth? But a ghost costume would look completely stupid with a mouth hole cut into it. Curses!

Ooh, Connecticut is playing Rutgers too. Are you really going to be that jerk who goes to a costume party without a costume? Could Connecticut and Rutgers swap places in the Big East standings? Hey, what if you were to go as a box of wine. It'd be easy, just cut head and arm holes into a card box, paint it like a box of Franzia wine, and fit it with the plastic spigot and wine bag. It'd be interactive. Yeah. Yeah! Hmm, Rutgers has a pretty impressive running game, and Connecticut's Cody Endres is putting together a pretty good season. Wait! Focus!

Sigh. You guess you'll just watch some football this afternoon and dig up the Green Man costume you wore last year. How inventive and original.
