Before Sunday night's exhibition game between the Clippers and Warriors, Baron Davis and his facial hair wanted to make it crystal clear that this is a new season for L.A.'s other team:
"I want to put the work in and I want to show people again...I don't want to talk about it, really. There's nothing for me to say. I grew my beard back. That's all you need to know."
There's a lot of reasons one would grow a beard. To be able to catch any falling food particles. To ward off the advances of unsavory women. To provide shelter for small animals. So, Baron, what does it mean for you?
"You know what it means."
Oh. Got it.
