The City of Pontiac, interested in spurring development in this harsh economic climate, has commissioned Williams & Williams to auction off the 80,000-seat stadium and the roughly 127 surrounding acres of land to the highest bidder. Sealed bids are being accepted until 4 p.m. Nov. 12, with the winning bid to be announced at 1 p.m. Nov. 16.
