Nearing halftime, the Eagles are making a mockery of the Giants' defense -- Donovan McNabb has thrown for 201 yards and fill-in running back Leonard Weaver has 53 yards on 5 carries. And today, Eli Manning is looking like Todd Flanders from The Simpsons, which is how I always chose to view him early in his career.
This 30-7 drubbing at the hands of the Eagles isn't new to the Giants. Remember, they were blown out by the Saints two weeks ago. They've really only won two games against decent teams (Cowboys and Cardinals); their other four wins have come against irrefutably bad teams (Redskins, Buccaneers, Chiefs, Raiders).
Manning and the Giants had a chance to make a statement today. Alas.
