If you grew up playing NHL '93 on Sega Genesis or one of it's counterparts, it will probably make you feel all kinds of old to know that Brett Hull, Brian Leetch, Luc Robitaille and Steve Yzerman were inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame on Monday. They were joined by longtime Devils' President, CEO, General Manager and the architect of three Stanley Cup champion teams, Lou Lamoriello. So influential was Lamoriello that our own Devils' blog bears his name.
Regardless of how you feel about hockey now, if you were even remotely interested in the sport in the 90's you know how influential and dominant each and every one of these inductees was to their teams and to the league. Go watch Lou's induction speech, followed by Brett's and then dust off the old Genesis and do a couple wrap-arounds in their honor.
