Steve Nash Has Third Grade Humor (Which Is Totally Awesome)

You know things are bad when Steve Nash is compelled to openly mock the officiating... Here he is, borrowing a gesture from third graders ridiculing the one kid in class with glasses:

Because she needs glasses, you see? And really, the fact that he's mocking Violet Palmer makes this about ten times as priceless. HOW IS SHE STILL A REFEREE IN THIS LEAGUE? Swear to God, I wondered this to myself as I was falling asleep last night, and hoped that there was some YouTube compendium of all her atrocious moments as an NBA official.

Sadly, there's no such definitive work, but this works, too:

The trailer for The Day After Tomorrow, quite possibly the worst movie of all time. So bad, it's hilarious. And that's Violet Palmer, the most comically inept official in the history of the league.

So, next time you think of NBA officiating, think "the worst movie of all time, playing on a nightly basis, for more than a decade."

Yeah, it’s completely awesome. But because it’s unintentionally hilarious. Like Violet Palmer
