Ever since catching some heat for their narrow win over Oklahoma, the Longhorns have begun to look like the title contending team they were expected to be. Counting today's 40-0 early thrashing of Baylor, the Longhorns have now outscored their four post-OU opponents 113-17 in the first half alone.
↵A week after amassing 465 yards of total offense in a 40-32 upset win at Missouri, Baylor has been absolutely crushed so far today, with the Longhorns gaining 314 yards to just 37 for the Bears. Barring the greatest comeback in college football history, Texas' win today will be Colt McCoy's 42nd career victory, tying Georgia's David Greene for the most all-time. McCoy will go for the record next week against Kansas.
