Michael Turner Has High Ankle Sprain, Likely Out Week 11

Via Jay Glazer comes confirmation that Falcons running back Michael Turner has the dreaded high ankle sprain that typically sidelines players for a month or more.

Glazer reports that the Falcons are hopeful that Turner will return relatively soon, although in the meantime they have re-signed running back Aaron Stecker, who they had cut last Saturday, according to Steve Wyche of NFL.com. Backup running back Jerious Norwood, who has been sidelined for the past four games due to a strained hip flexor, may also return for the Falcons’ Week 11 game against the New York Giants.
