Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown left the team's Week 10 win over the Bucs in the third quarter after going down with an ankle injury, according to the Miami Herald. Brown will undergo tests on his ankle on Monday, and while the team has not disclosed the extent of his injury, it seems unlikely that he will be ready to play in the team's Week 11 game against the Panthers on Thursday night.
With Brown out, it's not clear who will be the primary triggerman for the Dolphins in their vaunted Wildcat formation. Rookie quarterback Pat White could see extended playing time, although he has been used rather sparingly to this point. Ricky Williams could take snaps in the Wildcat, although he may not be the same throwing threat -- albeit, marginal one -- that Brown was.
