Then again, Royals fans don't have a ton of things to celebrate, and who am I to douse their joy at having ace Zach Greinke get his sportswriter-approved award this week? That's right. I'm no one.

I never understood why baseball announces these awards two-three weeks after the World Series, when no one is paying attention to MLB.
