Lyoto Machida v. Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua Rematch In May

Dan Wetzel of Yahoo! Sports just updated his twitter account with news that the light heavyweight title rematch is set:

Dana White just told me: Lyoto Machida will defend UFC light heavyweight belt against Shogun Rua May 1 in Montreal.

Machida is recovering from a hand injury which pushed the rematch back a bit but at least we're going to see the two get it on again without too much delay.

The true measure of Machida as a champ will be how he manages to adjust to the strategy Shogun used.  If he manages to change his approach and get the win he will prove that he is truly the best in the division.  Shogun was able to push him deep and take the late rounds in losing a decision and it will be interesting to see if it was just a once in a lifetime performance on his part of if he is the answer to the Lyoto Machida question.
