While early speculation centered on whether Redskins running back Ladell Betts had suffered an ACL or MCL tear, ESPN reports that MRI results have shown that Betts tore both his left ACL and PCL.
Betts will miss the rest of the season, adding to the team’s woes at running back, as starter Clinton Portis has missed the past two games due to lingering effects from the concussion he suffered.
