Imagine you’re a fantasy owner that somehow got stuck with a few Lions or Browns players on your roster. You hardly ever play them, usually only for the bye weeks. Then you’re faced with the decision – do I play them now that these two bad football teams are playing each other. The answer was most definitely yes, and if you did, you’re the envy of the fantasy world in this weekend’s Bizarro World game.
Take a look at the leading scorers in a traditional ESPN league for Week 11.
QBs
1. Matthew Stafford – 32 points
2. Brady Quinn – 28 points
RBs
3. Kevin Smith – 20 points
WRs
2. Calvin Johnson – 22 points
7. Mohamed Massaquoi – 17 points
TEs
6. Brandon Pettigrew – 13 points
Ks
6. Phil Dawson – 10 points
That’s seven players from the two teams that ended up in the top-10 at their position for this week. It’s a fantasy bonanza and evidence of what can happen when two bad teams play each other.
