It's a busy Monday night in the NHL, as 20 teams are in action. The spotlight game of the night is the New York Islanders vs. the Toronto Maple Leafs; it's the first game for Islander John Tavares in Toronto. Tavares originally hails from Toronto and the media there is jumping on his every word. He had this to say about playing in Toronto for the first time:
"I grew up there with the Leafs and was always a Leafs fan and it's where I learned to play the game and love the game and develop my skills. So it should be a lot of fun.
"A lot of people are coming to watch, so I'm going to enjoy it. But I'll keep the importance of the game on my mind and treat it like any other game."
