During my traditional Saturday morning walk down the street, I noticed that the city of Louisville was somehow different. I hadn't yet heard that Louisville coach Steve Kragthorpe was fired, but only because I failed to pick up on the telltale signs:
- People were smiling.
- Wherever I walked, roses and tulips grew from the cold, lifeless concrete.
- Jangly, whimsical tunes from the likes of Feist and Zooey Deschanel blared not from speakers, but from the sky itself.
- The sun was laughing.
I figured that I had somehow stumbled into a Toyota Prius commercial, but in fact, I had the imminent firing of Louisville's own Steve Kragthorpe to thank. Whoa, hold on. A flock of bluebirds just flew into my window! They're grabbing the corners of my bedsheets by their beaks...oh goodness, they're making my bed! This is amazing!
