Nov 3, 2009 - A brief look around SB Nation at all things Strikeforce: Fedor v. Rogers.
Kid Nate of BloodyElbow.com took a look into the following quote from Brett Rogers trainer Mike Reilly:
"His suplex - nobody has ever seen it in a fight - is insane," he said. You're 10 feet in the air. When he suplexes you, it's for real; you should pack a parachute."
MMAMania brings us a Jason "Mayhem" Miller speaking about his fight Saturday night with Jake Shields.
Watch Kalib Run has a preview of the big heavyweight fight between Antonio Silva and Fabricio Werdum:
WKR Analysis: The last time WKR watched Silva fight live --at EliteXC: Unfinished Business-- Silva looked slow and tired. Ironic considering his positive steroid test. Before that fight Antonio Silva was viewed as an extremely athletic heavweight with deadly hands, basically Brett Rogers without the girth. If the Antonio Silva that was ranked in the top-ten shows up WKR could see a TKO victory for Silva in round one a la Junior dos Santos.
MMA For Real's Kelvin Hunt looks at Rogers' striking technique and wonders if he tends to expose his chin too much for success at this level.
Luke Thomas looks at the ticket sales for the event and shares MMA Fanhouse's thoughts that the event is selling well but probably won't sell out.
