The next time the Packers' LB Brandon Chillar takes the field for Green Bay, he might look more like a caveman.
Chillar had surgery Monday after breaking his hand during Sunday night's "Can't-Take-Our-Eyes-Off-Brett-Favre" game. He can be expected back in a few weeks, however not without a club-like cast on his hand.
According to Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, now, "Big Oakie," a Packers defensive play where Chillar was slotted as the fifth linebacker, will not see the field for at least a few weeks.
"I would say right now ‘Big Okie’ is probably on the shelf for a little while," defensive coordinator Dom Capers. "We’ll have to look at other means to get what we got out of ‘Big Okie.’"
The Packers' secondary also took a hit, as Derrick Martin suffered a concussion and Nick Collins hurt his ankle.
