College Basketball Top 25: Florida Jumps Into Picture; State Of Michigan Takes Step Back

After a crazy Feast Week in college hoops, not one, not two, but seven new teams jumped into the Associated Press Top 25 poll after being unranked.  The list includes Florida (14th), which upset Michigan State, Maui Invitational champion Gonzaga (17th) and runner-up Cincinnati (22nd), Texas A&M (19th), Florida State (21st), UNLV (24th) and Portland (25th).

Who fell back?  Michigan State dropped from second to ninth after losing to Florida, while Butler dropped from 12th to 23rd after losing to Minnesota and Clemson.  At least they remained in the Top 25, though.  Seven teams (Michigan, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Vanderbilt and Oklahoma) dropped out, with Michigan (15th last week) taking the largest fall.
