Oregon looked speedy enough against USC, but their speed is by no means limited to their performance on the field. Jeff Maehl displays quicks of an entirely different but still pleasing sort in an interview with the Daily Emerald about the upcoming game against Stanford:
ODE: So are you looking forward to going to Palo Alto?
JM: Definitely. I heard there’s about 50 people going to the game, so I’m excited to play in front of them.
Ahh, Stanford. You’ll have to settle for being kind of good at football and really good at things like being smart and being born with millions you spin into billions with your brains and connections. SEE IF THAT CONSOLES YOU WHEN YOU GO TO THE SUN BOWL. (It will.)
