With the Vikings on a bye yesterday, we figured you needed some Brett Favre in your life. What’s that? You were actually enjoying a Sunday without Gunslinger hype? Well, you’re in luck, ‘cause this outstanding NFL Films piece from 1992 is much more about Mike Singletary and his final season as a player. (Admittedly, this is a bit of random YouTubery, but it was just posted today and we’re suckers for anything involving players being mic’d up.)
“Hey man, that’s a young quarterback, man. Somebody knock him out for me, one time.”
Little did Singletary know at the time that Brett Favre is indestructible.

I love this video, so I hate to get all nitpicky,
but I don’t think calling Brett Favre a “rookie” in that video is accurate. Did he not spend his first year in the NFL with the Falcons?

I believe you are right SELE. But if you think back the coach in black(glanville) made sure Brett was a virgin when he left the Falcons. Another evidence of the coach in black’s general brilliance.
