Nov 9, 2009 - While the Panthers have gotten their offensive mojo back -- i.e. handoff to DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart nearly every down -- they will be without one of their top defensive playmakers for the remainder of the season. The Charlotte Observer reports that linebacker Thomas Davis tore his ACL in his right knee during the team's Week 9 loss to the Saints, and he will miss the rest of the season.

Davis, a former first round pick out of Georgia, had 61 tackles, 1.5 sacks and 2 interceptions on the season for the Panthers.
