And not just because his hand is probably killing him. Punching a guy in the helmet is never a great idea.
No, Harris says he's sorry because he acted a fool, and he's asking his teammates, fans, and any little children not already desensitized to violence by awesome video games for forgiveness and redemption:
"I just want to apologize to my fans, first off (and) the little kids out there that saw that action, that I behaved in that manner. I apologize to my teammates. ... I'll make up for it." Harris said he apologized to Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald, one of his friends, and to Lutui. "I was embarrassed, especially for my actions," Harris said.
Harris is pretty good at these apologies, but he manages to keep doing silly stuff time and again. And some point you just stop doing silly stuff, right?
