Our own Florida Panthers blog, Litter Box Cats, says there isn’t much of a story here, but, um … well, this is still must-see stuff.
After Atlanta’s Ilya Kovalchuk scored on a breakaway goal, Florida’s Keith Ballard swung his stick with both hands in frustration at the net. Only problem: His own goaltender’s head got in the way:
Tomas Vokoun, the man nearly decapitated there, was taken to the hospital with a cut on his ear, but is apparently going to be fine.
