TCU gotta man, and if ND wants to step to him they betta take off their rings and get ready to scrap. After finishing the regular season undefeated and fourth in the BCS despite playing in the non-AQ Mountain West, Patterson asked for and got the house on a finger he wanted in the form of a new contract from TCU.
The deal is expected to be announced on Wednesday, and will remove Patterson from consideration as Notre Dame’s next head coach. Not that they were really considering him, since he has all of the things disqualifying him from the job: six ten win seasons in nine years, previous experience as a head coach, no horrible attitude, and a resume devoid of fabrication or falsehood. So, sure, like we said: totally unqualified to be Notre Dame’s coach.
