In the wake of Yahoo’s earlier report, the Associated Press recently confirmed the news that Turner Gill will be the next head coach at the University of Kansas, citing another unnamed source. From the AP:
Coach Turner Gill has agreed to take the same job with Kansas.
[Our source] spoke on condition of anonymity because the school hadn’t announced the move.
So while an official announcement is still forthcoming, it certainly looks as though Turner Gill will be Mark Mangino’s successor at the University of Kansas.
