Ten games kick off Sunday at 1:00. This is the week in which teams on the fringe face realistic playoff elimination. Take the Falcons, for instance. At 6-6, they face a must-win situation against the undefeated Saints and without quarterback Matt Ryan and running back Michael Turner.

Elsewhere, the Colts, who are going to the playoffs, host the Broncos, who are headed to the playoffs if they promise to behave. The Bengals and Vikings knock each other around, the Patriots can put some of their worries to rest with a win over the Panthers, and the Dolphins can make this whole business supremely confusing for everyone if they can beat the Jaguars.
