Akron's Blair Gavin, who misses that last kick and secures the Men's College Cup for Virginia, made the final penalty in the semifinal on Friday to propel the Zips to the final. Alas, fate is fickle.
I suppose if Gavin could get a hold of Roberto Baggio's number, the two could commiserate.
