After being questionable for last week's game because of a gimpy knee, Titans quarterback Vince Young was forced to leave the game due to a hamstring injury, according to the Tennessean. Young hurt himself on a 44-yard scramble in the second quarter, and did not return, as the Titans cruised to a 47-7 blowout of the lowly Rams.
After the game, Young seemed light-hearted, and Tennessee head coach Jeff Fisher described the injury as "mild". Still, the team did not say whether he would play next week when the 6-7 Titans take on the 7-6 Dolphins, in what is a de facto playoff elimination game.
The Titans have been 6-1 with Young under center, while they began the season 0-6 with Kerry Collins starting.
