Two new teams joined the AP College Basketball Top 25 rankings this week. Kansas State enters at No. 17 after beating Xavier and UNLV in the same week, while New Mexico is undefeated and No. 19 after beating Texas A&M.
Kansas and Texas occupy the top two spots in the poll for the third straight week, but last week's No. 3, Villanova, fell to No. 8 after losing to Temple. Led by John "Wonder"-Wall (rejected, I know) Kentucky jumps into the No. 3 spot after beating Connecticut, while Syracuse moved up from No. 7 to No. 5 after beating Florida.
UNLV (No. 18 last week) and Wisconsin (No. 20 last week) fell out of the rankings this week. UNLV's loss to Kanas State sealed their fate, while Wisconsin lost to cross-town rival Wisconsin-Green Bay to drop out.
