Rumor: Thiago Silva Injured; Fight At UFC 108 Still On

From the Figure-Four Weekly Newsletter:

UFC 108 has Rashad Evans vs. Thiago Silva (rumors are that Silva has an ankle injury, but they are making it worth his while to fight through it -- this is unconfirmed, but given the UFC curse of late I wouldn't be surprised if it's true)

If Silva has to pull out of the event it almost surely will force the UFC to either cancel the event or at the very least pull it from pay-per-view.  The rash of injuries to fighters on the card has gotten to the point of being almost unbelievable.

At this point this is only a rumor and if true the UFC is doing their best to make sure the fight still takes place.  But how impressive is the card looking now with fight after fight having been canceled and one of the main event fighters hampered with a bad ankle?
