Lackey To The Red Sox: Five Years, $82.5 Million

Buster Olney corrected his previous report and now has what he says are the final numbers for John Lackey’s deal with the Red Sox.

I stand corrected on Lackey: It’s five years, $82.5 million. Exact same as Burnett deal. No performance bonuses, no extras.

So, $16.5 million per year, and not $17.5. Still, not a bad gig if you can get it.
