MRI On Larry Fitzgerald's Knee Shows Bone Bruise, Could Play On Sunday

Good news for the Cardinals: Larry Fitzgerald could be back on the field this Sunday. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the MRI on Fitzgerald’s knee did not reveal any ligament damage, and only showed a bone bruise. Fitzgerald is reportedly walking without a limp, and could be back for the team’s game this week against the Lions.

Fitzgerald left the Cardinals’ Monday night game against the Niners last week after a defender landed on his knee, although he did return for the fourth quarter. He did not catch a pass after coming back. The Cardinals can clinch the NFC West this week with a win over Detroit, and a San Francisco loss.
