JaMarcus Russell has officially hit rock bottom.
Adam Schefter is reporting that the Raiders will start Charlie Frye, who has not thrown a pass all regular season, in place of the injured Bruce Gradkowski Sunday at Denver. Keep in mind that Russell is perfectly healthy and physically capable of playing. In other words, head coach Tom Cable has decided that Frye is the better QB than Russell.
Although it is only his third season, it may now be safe to call the No. 1 overall pick in the 2007 draft a bust.
