After being introduced as the newest Red Sox outfielder Wednesday morning, Mike Cameron spent the afternoon buying Red Sox outfits for his kids, which is awfully adorable, but the day's winner for endearing himself to a new fan base goes to Roy Halladay, who attended tonight's Cavaliers-76ers game. Which is impressive when you consider just how bad the Sixers are.
Fresh off of his press conference at Citizens Bank Park, Roy Halladay took a walk (or more likely, a limo ride) across the street to the Wachovia Center to watch AI’s 1 & 2 take on ‘Bron-’Bron, Shaq and the Cleveland Cavaliers. There he was interviewed by the very lovely, very Italian, Jaime Maggio from his comfortable suite at center court.
Halladay has already said joining the Phillies was a "dream come true" and now he's attended a Sixers game -- he is certainly doing what he can to win over the Philly fans. Surely their feelings will remain loyal and never change.
